Etymology of the word "church" (Citing Online Etymology Dictionary. "O.E. cirice "church," from W.Gmc. "kirika", from Gk. kyriake (oikia) "Lord's (house)," from kyrios "ruler, lord."; "Gk. kyriakon (adj.) "of the Lord" was used of houses of Christian worship since c.300, especially in the East, though it was less common in this sense than ekklesia or basilike.):

"The English language word "church" is from the Old English word cirice, derived from West Germanic "kirika", which in turn comes from the Greek κυÏιακή kuriakÄ“, meaning "of the Lord" (possessive form of κÏÏιος kurios "ruler, lord"). KuriakÄ“ in the sense of "church" is most likely a shortening of κυÏιακὴ οἰκία kuriakÄ“ oikia ("house of the Lord") or á¼κκλησία κυÏιακή ekklÄ“sia kuriakÄ“ ("congregation of the Lord"). Christian churches were sometimes called κυÏιακόν kuriakon (adjective meaning "of the Lord") in Greek starting in the 4th century, but ekklÄ“sia and βασιλική basilikÄ“ were more common."

The English translation of "ekklesia" comes from two completely different Greek words: (1) kuriakÄ“ ("Lord") and (2) oikia ("house").

With the word "church, we have one more example of just how "holy" the KING JAMES Bible really is. No worries, because the true believer carries the word (rhema) of God deep in his heart.

Ro 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word [rhema] of God.

True believers who are the only ones who can hear the rhema of God understand that it is God's rhema that must be fulfilled, not man's rhema.

Re 17:17  For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words [rhema] of God shall be fulfilled.

The "rhema" of God cannot be heard by those who do not have ears to hear. And yet, all readers who read the so-called "holy" King James version are all reading the exact same "holy" words.

Joh 8:47  He that is of God heareth God’s words [rhema]: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
